Canadian Forests
Canadian Forests is the foremost website on forests and forestry in Canada. It provides quick access to all the Internet sites of the federal and provincial governments, the forest industries, service and supply companies, associations and NGOs, consultants, education and research, forestry news, employment opportunities, and much more.
The Boreal Forest Website
In the uppermost Northern Hemisphere, North America, Europe, and Asia have significant expanses of land. The boreal forests ring the regions immediately south of the Arctic Circle in a vast expanse that easily rivals the rainforest regions of the world. The northern boreal ecoregion accounts for about one third of this planet's total forest area. This broad circumpolar band runs through most of Canada, Russia and Scandinavia.

The Conservation Land Tax Incentive Program (CLTIP)
(CLTIP) is designed to recognize, encourage and support the long-term private stewardship of Ontario's provincially significant conservation lands by providing property tax relief to those landowners who agree to protect the natural heritage values of their property. The current tax relief offered is 100 % tax exemption on that eligible portion of the property.
The Eastern Ontario Model Forest (EOMF)
An alliance of private individuals, First Nations peoples, businesses, non-governmental agencies, working together to sustain and improve the economic, social and cultural value of the forests of eastern Ontario.
Ontario Forestry Association (OFA)
The Ontario Forestry Association is a non-profit, registered charity dedicated to raising awareness and understanding of all aspects of Ontario's forests and developing a commitment to forest conservation. Activities include forestry information and education programs on forest wildfire prevention (Smokey Bear), private woodlands, Trees Ontario, Project Tree Cover, National Forest Week, the Honour Roll of Ontario Trees, Arbor Week, Envirothon and others.
The Tree Canada Foundation
Welcome to the Tree Canada Foundation a not-for-profit, charitable organization established in 1992. Under the direction of a eleven-member volunteer Board of Directors, the Foundation provides education, technical assistance, resources and financial support through working partnerships to encourage Canadians to plant and care for trees in our urban and rural environment in an effort to help reduce the harmful effects of carbon dioxide emissions.
